As God has blessed the ministry of Fairfax Baptist Temple, the growing demands on the facilities are evident in several areas:

• Additional multi-use space for small events, cafeteria, youth meetings
• Modern commercial kitchen for meal prep and food service
• Dedicated teen/youth space room for growing FBT’s next generation
• Portico for protection from weather during drop-off and pick-up
• Increased ministry space for music rooms and drama rehearsals
• Additional reception, offices, and improved campus security area

The members of FBT have voted to move forward on a building expansion for the church and academy. The Vision30 project will connect the current school building to the gymnasium; provide the school with a new kitchen and cafeteria; and add classrooms, two more sets of restrooms, music rooms, and a new room for the youth group.  

The administration set the goal of raising $100,000 through the Patriot Pace to improve our academy and help with the Vision30 project. 

Money raised will specifically go toward the following goals:   

• Purchase cafeteria tables for the new building
• Add kitchen equipment for the new building for lunch/concessions
• Upgrade classrooms with 6 more Smartboards
• Purchase new risers for our speech/music departments

This VISION30 campaign is a renewal of efforts to help provide more resources for FBT to have an even greater influence in Fairfax County and the Washington, D.C metropolitan area. The church leadership’s desire is to see this project completed by 2030 (which also marks 30 years at the current location).
