Affiliations
Fairfax Baptist Temple Academy is a ministry of Fairfax Baptist Temple. The academy is a member of the Old Dominion Association of Church Schools (ODACS) and a member of the American Association of Christian Schools (AACS).
Accreditation
Fairfax Baptist Temple Academy is fully accredited in both the Preschool and the Kindergarten–12th grades by the North American Christian School Accreditation Agency (NACSAA) as well as the American Association of Christian Schools (AACS). The academy’s accreditation is recognized by the Virginia Council for Private Education (VCPE).
The Fairfax Baptist Temple Academy shall admit students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school, and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in Administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
Tuition & Fees
K3 + K4 PRESCHOOL PROGRAM

TERMS
- Tuition may be paid in full or in twelve monthly payments, beginning in June and ending May the following year.
- Payments are due on the 5th day of each month. A late fee of $35 will be charged for any payments not received by the 15th. If the 5th or 15th falls on the weekend, the payment will be due by the next business day. If a student’s account is not paid in full by the last day of the month, the student will not be admitted to school the following day unless acceptable arrangements have been made with the finance office.
- Monthly tuition is non-refundable in whole or in part. Parents agree that any tuition payments made in June, July or August will not be refunded for students withdrawing before the first day of school. Parents agree that students withdrawing before the end of the school year will be expected to pay tuition through the end of the month that the academy receives written notice of withdrawal. A $150 withdrawal/dismissal processing fee will apply for withdrawn or dismissed students.
- A $50 fee will be charged for each returned check, and all future payments for the current academic year MUST be made in cash or cashier’s check.
- Final payments are due May 5. Any credit balance under $20 not being used for the next academic year will be transferred to the Academy Scholarship Fund unless reimbursement is requested in a timely manner.
Preschool Prerequisites
- Child must turn three by Sept. 30 of the enrollment year and be potty-trained.
- Completed enrollment application must be turned in with the registration fee of $200.
- Supply fee of $450—The first half is due by noon on June 2 of the enrollment year, and the remaining half is due by noon on July 1 of the enrollment year. (Supply fee covers books, snacks, yearbook, and special projects.)
- Immunizations must be current.
- Physicals must be current within 60 days from the 1st day of school.
Elementary, J.H., & S.H. Program
HOURS
- The school year is from August 23 to May 31.
- School day is from 8:05 a.m.- 3:15 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- Extended care hours are from 7:00-7:45 a.m. and 3:30-6:00 p.m.
- Curbside drop-off and pick-up is from 7:50-8:10 a.m. and from 3:05-3:30 p.m.

Registration Fee
$200 Registration fees will be limited to a maximum of $450 per family. This fee is non-refundable in whole or in part.
Supply Fee
The supply fee is due in two installments. The first installment is due by June 5 of the enrollment year, and the remaining half is due by July 3. For students enrolling after July 1, the registration and supply fees are due at the time of enrollment.
This fee covers all textbooks, tests, awards, yearbook, K5 snacks, etc. It is non-refundable in whole or in part.
Senior Trip | graduation fee
A $500 fee will be due by noon March 5 of the graduation year.

- Athletic fees help cover referee expenses, transportation costs, uniform costs, equipment costs, etc.

- Charges will appear on a student’s statement the next billing cycle after the student has been added to the official roster.
